Jesus saved me from Death...

At the age of 20, I migrated to Canada to continue my education. I started to become depressed because of the absence of my family and friends. I tried to focus on my education but I filled the void in my life by indulging myself in many bad habits, such as clubbing and drinking. One afternoon, I turned on the tamil radio to listen to some songs but I found myself listening to the word of God. Pastor Vincent was preaching through the radio ministry and I felt like Jesus was right there in front of me. His presence was so alive at that moment, I felt Jesus touch my heart and I began to cry asking God to forgive my sins. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and I wanted to devote my life to him.

I started to attend Toronto Harvest Missionary Church (the church that conducts the radio program). The first day I came to the service, Pastor Vincent handed me the guitar and said, “Keep this and play for God.” I was at a conflicting point in my life; I was under much peer pressure from my friends to return to my old lifestyle. I went back the next Sunday to return the guitar and go clubbing with my friends, but Pastor Vincent refused to take the guitar. He told me, God told me to give you this guitar. I later returned home and turned on the news, only to find out there was a shooting, at the club I planned to attend. I realized God saved my life through the guitar. From that day on, I submitted my life to Jesus. God has tremendously changed my life, he blessed me, gave me peace in my life. He changed my life, he will change your life, I am currently the worship leader at THMC, glory be to GOD.

Jesus healed my dad from Cancer...

At the time when I was small my dad had cancer and tumour. My parents went to temples, doctors and so many other places seeking for healing. But nothing helped. During this time my mom’s friend told her to go to church. So we came to Toronto Harvest Missionary Church. My dad was in a wheel chair, and a man of God came by and prayed for him, at the spot my dad was healed and my dad started to walk. I couldn’t believe my eyes…this was such a huge miracle that Jesus did. Since then my dad was healed from cancer and tumor.

I came to know Jesus as a miracle working God, but as I grew up in church I came to know that He is not only a miracle working God but He is the savior. Now I'm going to school and just like any other young person out there I face a lot of temptations, and trials but Jesus is always there for me and helps me to not give into temptations. Thank you Jesus.

God Delivered me from alcohol...

I was addicted to alcohol for more than 20 years. I had lots of money and friends. Drinking was life to me. At one point a trusted friend of mine ran away with a huge amount of my money...and i became more depressed, violent with my family, and started to drink more to the point where my life was going down the drain.

At this time God send servants of his from THMC to meet me. They told me about Jesus, and they prayed for me. I was very rebellious to their words and didn't accept Jesus. But one day i went to church and God sent his word through the Pastor during the sunday service at THMC and it changed my life forever. Now i am free from addiction to alcohol, have piece of mind, and have the joy of Salvation. Glory be to Jesus.
